Artist-in-Residence: Licia Priest

Licia Priest is a Louisville-based artist and educator whose work probes the multiplicity of experiences across the African diaspora. Priest's practice brings together painting, fiber art, sculpture, and photography through paper toile craft. 

 

Between November 1st 2024 and March 2nd, 2025, Priest will be working as artist-in-residence. While working in the museum's residency studio, Priest will be available to discuss her practice with guests. 

 

An exhibition featuring work made during Priest's residency will be on view from March 15th, 2025 to May 18th, 2025.

Museum guests can meet Licia during at the following times: 

Tuesday: 10am - 5pm

Wednesday: 1pm - 5pm

Thursday: 1pm - 5pm

Friday: 2:30pm - 5pm

Saturday: 1pm -  5pm
