Family Workshops

Family Workshops at KMAC are hands-on art making workshops designed to bring people together. Learn basic skills and techniques for various craft practices and make artwork with KMAC Educators and artists. Each family will learn together and make one piece of art together. Youth can be any age from 7-18. Family Workshops are great way to learn together and have some fun! ​​

Paper Beads Family Workshop with Licia Priest

Friday, May 2nd

2:30-4:30pm

Free with registration (space limited)

 

In this workshop, you will meet KMAC’s Artist in Residence, Licia Priest, and learn about her process for making paper beads. Participants will create unique paper beads using simple techniques and tools. Once the beads are made, participants can make a bracelet, necklace or cover a writing pen. This workshop is made for an adult to accompany 1-4 children.
